In the Fall of 2013, Tim Wegner entered the PRIME program, although his journey in Mathematics Education had started long before.

Sharon Senk, Professor and mathematics education faculty member in PRIME and the Mathematics Department, has officially retired from MSU. A reception was held on September 18th at the Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center on MSU’s campus to celebrate her long and productive career in mathematics education.

Glenda Lappan, University Distinguished Professor at Michigan State University (MSU) and co-author of the Connected Mathematics Project (CMP) middle school mathematics curriculum, has officially retired from MSU.

Michigan State University is home to a large and vibrant mathematics education community spanning several departments and two colleges. The Mathematics Education Doctoral Program is housed in the Colleges of Natural Science and Education.
