MLRG Schedule of Activities

Spring 2025

TENTATIVE MLRG Spring 2025 SCHEDULE 

A more detailed schedule of planned events will be shared as the semester progresses.

Meeting times starting February 24th will be from 12:30 - 2:00 pm Eastern Time on select Mondays of each month (see below for the schedule). We will be meeting in the PRIME Conference Room, C109 Wells.

  • January 27 Miguel Rodriguez Mejia, a PhD student in PRIME, will share about the Validity Evidence for Measurement in Mathematics Education (VM2ED) Repository based on a training he attended last Fall on that subject
  • February 10  Sofia Abreu, Ashley Fabry, and Sabrina Zarza, PhD students in PRIME, are sharing their Research Practicum experiences
  • February 24 Mock Conference Presentations
  • March 10
  • March 24  Ishan and Ayesha will be sharing some of their investigations into trauma and healing in mathematics education
  • April 7  Michael Quail is sharing his comps work and experiences
  • April 21  Ashley Fabry is presenting some of her recent work. Pizza provided at this last meeting of the semester!

 

Fall 2024

TENTATIVE MLRG Fall 2024 SCHEDULE

Meeting times will be from 4:00 - 5:30 pm Eastern Time on select Tuesdays of each month (see below for the schedule). We will be meeting in the PRIME Conference Room, C109 Wells.
