2021 PRIME Fall Gathering

Many of the Mathematics Education faculty and staff, doctoral students, and their families gathered at Frances Park in Lansing on August 30th for a fall welcome boxed dinner.

New math ed doctoral students Saul Barbosa, Anthony Dickson, and Ashley Fabry were the guests of honor, and those returning were welcomed back to the new academic year.

The break in the heat and humidity (and mosquitoes!) and the gorgeous weather that night were appreciated by the nearly 40 people who attended the event. A good time was had by all who shared the great food, camaraderie, a lot of laughs, and the wonderful company of the extended MSU math ed community.

Some math ed faculty and students were able to participate in a couple of fun events leading up to the fall gathering, including mini golf one week and lawn games on campus last week. Some photos from the three events appear below.
